OUR CEO CONDUCTS CAPACITY TRAINING TO ENHANCE STAFF EFFICIENCY

Our CEO and founder, Mr. Jamil Jaward, conducted a comprehensive capacity-building training session for the foundation's staff, focusing on enhancing their ability to serve widows and less privileged women more effectively. The training, held at the foundation's headquarters, covered critical areas including office procedures, procurement, and administrative practices, all aimed at improving the overall efficiency of the foundation's operations.

Mr Jaward emphasized the importance of this training in ensuring that our mission is carried out with the highest standards of professionalism and dedication. “Our staff are the backbone of our organization,” said Mr. Jaward. “By building their capacity, we are not only enhancing their skills but also strengthening the foundation’s ability to support the widows and vulnerable women we serve''.

The training session provided staff with a detailed understanding of procurement processes, emphasizing transparency and accountability. It also covered administrative procedures that are essential for the smooth operation of the foundation’s activities, ensuring that all staff are well-equipped to handle the day-to-day responsibilities of the office.

Rugiatu Tarawalie, our programs coordinator, expressed her gratitude for the training, highlighting its value in boosting staff confidence and competence. “This training has been incredibly beneficial for all of us,” said Ms. Tarawalie. “It has provided us with the tools we need to be more effective in our roles and to better support the women we work with. We are grateful to Mr. Jaward for his leadership and for investing in our development. This will certainly help us to manage our projects more efficiently and deliver even better results for the communities we serve.”

The capacity-building session is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring that our staff are well-prepared to meet the challenges of supporting some of Sierra Leone’s most vulnerable populations. Staff members left the training session feeling more equipped and motivated to contribute to the foundation’s work, with a renewed sense of purpose and dedication
